Ordered Rosso and dolce Emma. Really liked both. The dough is fantastic. My favorite was Dolce Emma perfect balance. Atmosphere is great. Nice decor. Service was fantastic. Would I come back? Absolutely.
IN THE EVENT OF AN EMP ATTACK, EAT HERE! Once again I was reminded about how I am actually a Peasent pretending to be Minor Nobility (not High Nobility, those guys are jerks and full of themselves - they don't understand the GRIND that Lower Nobles have to go through, I mean who wants to be on the frontline of a battlefield? I'm too weak to carry all that armor all day, and with my luck I would be Iseakied to a time with platemail, and that has nothing to do with the scrumptious plates we have here). There was an incident while we are here. I'm not pointing fingers, because my grandma said when you point a finger at someone you have 3 pointing back at you, but I think it was Big Pavement. Cuz Olivia said she hates communiting up Gateway, and we all know that Calgary trail deserves the true hate. So there was a power outage! (Not a complete one, my phone still had charge so batteries were unaffected, something about potential chemical reaction power, my chemistry teacher explained it to me once but I got 79 in that class which was a fail in my mom's eyes, which is why she gave him 34% of the inheritance and me only 33%). The power outage however, did not stop these people. Turns out Real-life Wood Stoves don't need to be plugged in! Also Olivia is real Italian, not fake Italian, I'm not sure if that means she is Roman or not. Are real Italians Romans? She says Roman Catholic which I think should count. Anyways the wood stove is Italian as well and definitely not Roman, since it's not made of concrete. That being said it would be too heavy to steal in my opinion, so they should be safe till the power comes back on! Honestly it's impressive they are feeding a full restaurant right now thanks to the wood stove! There is at least 4 people here dining, maybe 45, so like a lot of people. Also they have candles which were on before the power outage, so even though the power went out, it set the mood for a romatice dinner with my bros. We really enjoyed looking into eachothers eyes. Though Chad kept ruining the moment by talking about our latest real estate development. How is a man supposed to get the Rizz going when Olivia keeps bringing delicious food that keeps our mouths busy? Gotta blame the cooks for cooking so fast. And making it delicious. Really it's a united front. They are more unified in working together than Yangzee River Dolphins. And I don't think they are Roman either. Needless to say fellow peasents, this place is awesome, I think it will be even better with the power on. Thankfully they also have windows which let in sunlight. And thankfully the owner has paid his Solar Taxes this year. I assume. But assuming is bad, I'll go ask him.
Yesterday, we celebrated our 14th anniversary and chose to dine at Rosso. The service, food, music, and ambiance were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed carpaccio, pizza, and some drinks, and I dare say the carpaccio is the best in town!!. This place is truly a gem!
Food was great and the servers were attentive. Love how they have parking which is a BIG plus. Also their gelato is amazing.
This place was awesome! We were in town for a concert and stopped to grab a quick bite but I had no idea what a gem I had found! The pizza was amazing, portions were small but sure was about the quality! Crust was thin and crispy. We also had a coffee and a pistachio ice cream, coffee was ok and the pistachio ice cream was ok too, better than most Ive had in Canada. Im a harsh critic over pistachio ice cream but the texture was creamy and light, I love creamy smooth ice creams.
Came here for a date night with my partner and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is quite small, but it’s cozy. I highly recommend making a reservation. Our server was awesome! Her name was Kaitlyn and she was very sweet and attentive. We ordered two pizzas, the mama Mia and the dolce Emma. Both fantastic! Afterwards we ordered the chocolate cake dessert and got to choose our gelato, I recommend the white chocolate raspberry, it was delicious. We also each had a cappuccino with dessert and it was great. Would love to come back soon and try more items off their menu. Awesome place for a date night, solo date, or even with friends.
I came here the other day for the very first time and it was such a lovely experience. The restaurant is small making for an intimate and quiet dining experience but it’s not too cramped. Our server was seriously so kind and sweet. She was very accommodating and friendly (we needed a bigger table because we ordered so much food and she slid another table alongside ours right away). The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. Their pasta special caught my eye right away. It had lemon butter, garlic, white wine, smoked salmon, scallops, lobster, crab, parsley and green onion. It was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered a few of the pizzas also amazing. We had their fig gelato for dessert and it too was delicious. I would 100% recommend this place. It’s a little hidden gem that is cozy and romantic, has phenomenal food and great service.
The pizzas were cooked perfectly with a classic thin crust, crispy and not burnt. Server was friendly, food arrived quickly and was hot. Both the Mare di Benjamino and Fileto de manzo were delicious!
